Local knowledge
Business deliveries from Dartford
Which Dartford sites do you collect from?
All of them, across DA1, DA2 and DA4. Crossways Business Park off Galleon Boulevard has direct access to junction 1a. The Bridge is off Bob Dunn Way, the Littlebrook Complex on Manor Way and Riverside Industrial Estate on Riverside Way, while Dartford Trade Park and the Questor Industrial Estate sit off Powder Mill Lane. We also cover the riverside through Stone, Greenhithe and Swanscombe, and the retailers at Bluewater.
Can you go over the crossing into Essex?
Yes. The A282 Dartford Crossing puts the Port of Tilbury and London Gateway typically 20 to 40 minutes away, and Stansted typically 50 to 70 minutes via the M11, without going through London. That suits export paperwork, stock that missed a container and parts for a vessel in port. We agree the handover point at the port with you when you book.
How long to Heathrow from Dartford?
Typically 50 to 80 minutes for the 45 to 50 miles round the M25, depending on which way the orbital is flowing, with delivery to the cargo area on the airport’s southern perimeter. Central London is about 18 miles and typically 45 to 75 minutes via the A2. Sites that work through the night can book out of hours too: enquiries are answered 24/7, and collections depend on vehicle availability.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Same Day Couriers Kent collects from the distribution and office units at Crossways, off Galleon Boulevard, DA2. The park has direct access to M25 junction 1a, so your consignment is typically on the orbital within minutes, heading for Heathrow, the Midlands or over the crossing into Essex.
Yes. Same Day Couriers Kent runs clinical supplies and UN3373-packed specimens in and out of Darent Valley Hospital, Darenth Wood Road, DA2 8DA. Your run gets its own vehicle and driver, and the proof of delivery names who received it and when.
Yes, subject to vehicle availability. Same Day Couriers Kent answers enquiries 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, which suits sites at Crossways and the Littlebrook Complex that work through the night when a missed consignment has to move before morning.
Not normally. For most same-day jobs, Same Day Couriers Kent assigns one driver and vehicle who collect from your Dartford site and drive straight to the delivery address. Your consignment isn’t normally sorted or transferred between vehicles on the way, which keeps handling to a minimum.
Why not a parcel network?
The Same Day Couriers Kent difference
Less handling on the way
For most same-day jobs, your consignment travels directly with the assigned driver. It is not normally taken to a depot, sorted or moved between vehicles.
The vehicle you actually need
We match the vehicle to your job, from a motorcycle for documents to a 7.5-tonne lorry with tail-lift for pallets, so you're not paying for spare capacity.
You know where it is
The driver keeps you updated while the job is running, and proof of delivery gives you the recipient's name and the time of handover.
Cover agreed before you book
Every consignment includes cover up to £100. Worth more? Tell us the value and, where extra insurance can be arranged, we confirm the cover and cost before you accept.
