Collect in Kent, delivery arranged anywhere in the UK
Kent to Nottingham Same Day Courier
For a Nottingham delivery, the M1 junction decides the last few miles: 24, 25 or 26, depending on whether you need the south-west, Beeston and the city centre, or the north. Same Day Couriers Kent collects from your Kent site and drives direct, typically 2 hours 45 minutes to 3 hours 30 minutes from Maidstone.

Delivering to Nottingham: what to know
Where in Nottingham do you deliver?
Anywhere in the city. Kent firms send samples and clinical items to the Queen’s Medical Centre and City Hospital, materials to research companies at Nottingham Science Park and BioCity, and stock and documents to the Boots campus at Beeston, next to the Science Park and the University of Nottingham. Breakdown parts go to manufacturers around the city. Hospital and campus sites run their own goods-in, so name the building and contact.
Which route will the driver take?
From Maidstone it’s typically 160 to 170 miles and 2 hours 45 minutes to 3 hours 30 minutes: the M25 to junction 21, then the M1 north. Junction 24 suits the south-west and Castle Donington side, junction 25 and the A52 serve Beeston, the Queen’s Medical Centre and the city centre, and junction 26 suits the north. A mid-morning collection typically delivers by early afternoon.
How do you handle clinical and diagnostic items?
You pack diagnostic specimens to UN3373 and declare any dangerous goods when you enquire. We drive them to the pathology reception or department on your booking and record who signed and when; for most same-day jobs they stay with one driver, not normally via a depot. Cover is up to £100 as standard; for anything worth more, tell us the value and we confirm any extra cover that can be arranged, and its cost, before you accept.

The Same Day Couriers Kent difference
Less handling on the way
For most same-day jobs, your consignment travels directly with the assigned driver. It is not normally taken to a depot, sorted or moved between vehicles.
The vehicle you actually need
We match the vehicle to your job, from a motorcycle for documents to a 7.5-tonne lorry with tail-lift for pallets, so you're not paying for spare capacity.
You know where it is
The driver keeps you updated while the job is running, and proof of delivery gives you the recipient's name and the time of handover.
Cover agreed before you book
Every consignment includes cover up to £100. Worth more? Tell us the value and, where extra insurance can be arranged, we confirm the cover and cost before you accept.
