Business deliveries from Canterbury
What kind of Canterbury jobs do you handle?
Short urgent runs and long ones. A specimen from a clinic to the hospital lab on Ethelbert Road, a signed document to the Canterbury Combined Court Centre, or a part from Wincheap to a site on the coast. Or research equipment from the University of Kent or Canterbury Christ Church to a London university, and trade stock heading for the Midlands. We match the vehicle to the job, from a motorcycle for an envelope to a van or larger vehicle for pallets.
Where do you collect from in Canterbury?
Anywhere in CT1 to CT4. That includes the Wincheap Industrial Estate on Cotton Road, Maynard Road and Simmonds Road beside the A28, Lakesview International Business Park at Hersden, and the Canterbury Innovation Centre on University Road, plus villages such as Sturry, Chartham, Bridge and Blean. From the city, the A2 reaches the M2 at Brenley Corner, about 9 miles west, and Dover is typically 25 to 35 minutes south-east.
How long to London, Heathrow or the M25?
Central London is typically 90 to 120 minutes via the M2 and A2. Heathrow typically takes 100 to 135 minutes via the M2 and M25, or the A28 and M20 when the M2 is congested, with delivery to the cargo area. M25 junction 2 is typically 45 to 55 minutes. For most same-day jobs your consignment stays with the one driver throughout and isn’t normally taken to a depot.
