Business deliveries from Whitstable
Where in Whitstable do we collect from?
The main estates sit on the edges of town, off the old Thanet Way, the A2990. John Wilson Business Park is a 20-acre estate between Whitstable and Chestfield, on Harvey Drive and Reeves Way, with light industrial, storage and trade units. Joseph Wilson Industrial Estate adds workshop and industrial space. At the harbour, Brett Aggregates runs an aggregates plant on the East Quay alongside fishing and seafood businesses. Harbour access varies, so give us the quay and a contact on site.
What do Whitstable businesses usually send?
Parts and materials for trade and light industrial units, supplies and paperwork for harbour businesses, and documents heading to courts and offices in Canterbury or London. Canterbury Combined Court Centre is typically 20 to 30 minutes away along the A290, and Kent and Canterbury Hospital is about seven miles south for clinical items. We match the vehicle to the job, from a motorcycle for papers to a van or larger vehicle for heavy goods.
How long to London and Heathrow?
The A299 Thanet Way is your link to the motorway: dual carriageway west to M2 junction 7 at Brenley Corner, near Faversham, around ten miles away. Outside peak hours, a van from Whitstable typically reaches M25 junction 2 in 55 to 70 minutes, central London in 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes and Heathrow’s cargo area in 1 hour 40 minutes to 2 hours 10 minutes. The A290 runs south to Canterbury and the A2 for Dover.

Less handling on the way
For most same-day jobs, your consignment travels directly with the assigned driver. It is not normally taken to a depot, sorted or moved between vehicles.
The vehicle you actually need
We match the vehicle to your job, from a motorcycle for documents to a 7.5-tonne lorry with tail-lift for pallets, so you're not paying for spare capacity.
You know where it is
The driver keeps you updated while the job is running, and proof of delivery gives you the recipient's name and the time of handover.
Cover agreed before you book
Every consignment includes cover up to £100. Worth more? Tell us the value and, where extra insurance can be arranged, we confirm the cover and cost before you accept.
