Business deliveries from Margate
Where in Margate do you collect from?
Anywhere in CT9. Most of Margate’s industry is on the Westwood Industrial Estate off the A254 Ramsgate Road, including Westwood Business Park on Strasbourg Street and the Engine Works units for makers and trade firms. We also collect from the Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital on St Peter’s Road, which has a 24-hour emergency department, and from offices and studios across the Old Town, Cliftonville, Westgate-on-Sea and Birchington.
Can you move artwork or exhibition kit safely?
Yes. Margate’s galleries, studios and event spaces, anchored by Turner Contemporary, need packed artwork, print, AV kit and display materials moved to tight timings. For most same-day jobs your items stay with one driver from collection to delivery and aren’t normally handled at a depot. Cover up to £100 is standard; for anything worth more, tell us the value and we’ll confirm what extra cover can be arranged, and its cost, before you accept.

The Same Day Couriers Kent difference
Less handling on the way
For most same-day jobs, your consignment travels directly with the assigned driver. It is not normally taken to a depot, sorted or moved between vehicles.
The vehicle you actually need
We match the vehicle to your job, from a motorcycle for documents to a 7.5-tonne lorry with tail-lift for pallets, so you're not paying for spare capacity.
You know where it is
The driver keeps you updated while the job is running, and proof of delivery gives you the recipient's name and the time of handover.
Cover agreed before you book
Every consignment includes cover up to £100. Worth more? Tell us the value and, where extra insurance can be arranged, we confirm the cover and cost before you accept.
