Collect in Kent, delivery arranged anywhere in the UK
Same Day Courier Sandwich
Sandwich is home to Discovery Park, the 200-acre science and technology park on the former Pfizer research site, so the urgent job here is often lab equipment, instrument parts or samples. Same Day Couriers Kent collects from your CT13 address, whether that's the park or Ramsgate Road, and arranges delivery anywhere in the UK.

Business deliveries from Sandwich
Can you move lab and research consignments?
Yes. Discovery Park has held Enterprise Zone status since 2011, and its life sciences, pharmaceutical and technology tenants, Pfizer among them, send laboratory equipment, instrument parts, research materials and diagnostic specimens at short notice. You pack specimens to UN3373, and you need to declare any dangerous goods when you enquire, because ADR rules govern how they travel. Tell us about storage or handling needs up front so they’re agreed before collection.
Where else in Sandwich do we collect from?
North of the town on Ramsgate Road, Sandwich Industrial Estate houses metal finishing, building supplies and trade businesses, and Port Richborough Business Park sits on the old Richborough port land beside the River Stour. Both share the same approach as Discovery Park. The Port of Ramsgate is a short drive north, and the Port of Dover is typically 25 to 35 minutes south along the A256.
How long will it take from Sandwich?
There’s no motorway nearby, so the first leg matters. The A256 and the A299 Thanet Way lead to M2 junction 7 near Faversham; the A256 south to Dover joins the A20 and M20; the A257 heads west to Canterbury. Outside peak hours, a van typically reaches M25 junction 2 in 80 to 100 minutes, central London in 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours 15 minutes and Heathrow in 2 hours to 2 hours 30 minutes. Cambridge and Stansted add the Dartford Crossing.

The Same Day Couriers Kent difference
Less handling on the way
For most same-day jobs, your consignment travels directly with the assigned driver. It is not normally taken to a depot, sorted or moved between vehicles.
The vehicle you actually need
We match the vehicle to your job, from a motorcycle for documents to a 7.5-tonne lorry with tail-lift for pallets, so you're not paying for spare capacity.
You know where it is
The driver keeps you updated while the job is running, and proof of delivery gives you the recipient's name and the time of handover.
Cover agreed before you book
Every consignment includes cover up to £100. Worth more? Tell us the value and, where extra insurance can be arranged, we confirm the cover and cost before you accept.
